We never use palm oil in any of our perfumes. Only organic jojoba oil!

No Soy or derivatives are used in the creation of our perfumes.

There are no genetically modified ingredients in our perfume.

We create our perfumes in small batches, then bottle & send them in eco-friendly packaging.

Basil 
Botanical name: Ocimum basilicum
Steam-distilled from plants organically grown in Egypt.

Bergamot
Botanical name: Citrus bergamia
Believed to be an offspring of the lemon & the grapefruit tree, bergamot orange trees grow in Mauritius, Côte d'Ivoire in West Africa, the Antalya Province of Turkey & Southern France, however, most of the bergamot trees in the world grow along a small coastal stretch of the Ionian Sea in the province of Reggio di Calabria, Italy. This is where we source our beautiful bergamot essential oil, where it is cold-press extracted from the fresh rind of organically grown bergamot oranges.

Cedarwood
Botanical name: Cedrus deodara
This large evergreen tree is native to the western Himalayas. Cedarwood essential oil is steam distilled from the foliage & sometimes the root & wood remaining from sustainable timber harvesting as part of the replanting process that the native people in northern India have practised for generations

Ginger
Botanical name: Zingiber officinale
Ginger is native to tropical & subtropical zones on the Indian subcontinent, Southern Asia, Hawaii, Japan, Australia, & Malaysia - the first spice to travel to Europe during the spice trade. We source some of our ginger from France, where it is steam distilled from the root of organically grown ginger.

Grapefruit
Botanical name: Citrus paradisi
An early written description of a grapefruit - as an accidental citrus fruit cross between an Indonesian pomelo & Jamaican sweet orange - places its origin in Barbados in the Caribbean. Grapefruit trees are now cultivated in many Tropical, Subtropical, and warm temperate regions worldwide. Our lovely grapefruit essential oil is from Israel, cold expressed from the epicarp of fresh organically grown grapefruits

Lemon
Botanical name: Citrus limon
Lemon trees originated in Asia & now grow in Tropical, Subtropical, and warm Temperate zones all over the world. Our lemon essential oil is sourced from Mediterranean Italy, where the oil is cold-pressed from the fresh peel of organically grown lemons.

Neroli
Botanical name: Citrus aurantium var. Amara
Steam distilled from the organically nurtured blossoms of the Citrus aurantium trees in Egypt.

Oakmoss
Botanical name: Evernia Prunastri
Oakmoss is a species of lichen that grows on the trunk & branches of trees found in forests in many locations in the northern hemisphere including North America and Central Europe.

Patchouli
Botanical name: Pogostemon cablin
The evergreen patchouli plant is native to tropical Asia & is now grown extensively throughout other tropical regions in the world. Our patchouli is sourced from organically grown plants in Indonesia, the oil is steam distilled from the dried, aromatic leaves.

Peppermint
Botanical name: Mentha Piperita  
Peppermint a natural cross between wild watermint & wild spearmint is native to Europe and the Middle East but now grows in temperate zones throughout the world as far-flung as Morocco, Australia, the Galápagos Islands, New Zealand, and in the Great Lakes region of the United States. Our fine peppermint is ethically sourced in India, where it is steam distilled from the hand-picked leaves.

Petitgrain
Botanical name: Citrus aurantium
Steam distilled from the leaves and twigs of bitter orange trees organically nurtured in Paraguay. 

Pink Pepper
Botanical name: Schinus molle
The pink pepper tree Schinus molle is an evergreen tree native to the Peruvian Andes in South America & now grows naturalized throughout the USA, Australia & the Mediterranean Basin. Our pink pepper is sourced from its origins in Peru where it is steam distilled from the wild-harvested, dried, pink peppercorn fruits of the tree.

Red Mandarin
Botanical name: Citrus reticulata {rosso} 
Mandarin orange trees are native to Vietnam, South China, and Japan and are the ancient 'sweet' ancestor of most other citrus fruit trees. Our mandarin essential oil is sourced from Mediterranean Italy, where it is extracted, by cold expression, from the fresh pericarp of organically grown mandarins.

Sweetgum
Botanical name Liquidambar styraciflua 
A deciduous tree native to warm temperate areas A tree resin is sustainably grown & harvested in France.

Tobacco
Botanical name: Nicotiana tabacum
Our tobacco is extracted from the leaves of Tobacco leaves grown in Bulgaria.

Tonka bean
Botanical name: Dipteryx odorata
Tonka is a tropical tree that bears beautifully aromatic black seed pods or beans from which the fragrant oil is extracted. Our Tonka is sourced in Venezuela.

Vanilla
Botanical name: Vanilla planifolia
The vanilla orchid, native to Mexico, now grows throughout the tropics, especially Indonesia and Madagascar and neighbouring islands in the southwestern Indian Ocean. Madagascan vanilla or Bourbon vanilla is the source of our vanilla, where it is obtained naturally from pure organically grown vanilla pods.

Vetiver
Botanical name: Vetiveria zizanoides
Vetiver originates in India & now grows extensively in Haiti, India, Indonesia & Réunion. Our Vetiver essential oil is sourced from South India, where it is sustainably grown and steam distilled from the root.

Ylang Ylang
Botanical name: Cananga odorata
The Cananga tree is a tropical tree that originates in Indonesia. Now found thriving in Malaysia and the Philippines, Polynesia, Melanesia, Micronesia & the Comoros islands as well as Madagascar, an island in the Indian Ocean, off the coast of East Africa where our Ylang ylang essential oil is distilled from the delicate, hand-picked flowers.
